is it so impossible to buy a bulb of garlic where I don’t have to throw away half of the cloves because they’re sprouting leaves or they’re moldy? Or is this a phenomenon restricted entirely to the Old Line State?

Never had that problem in H mart or Whole foods.. but other places.. it’s always a constant threat.. err.. I mean problem.

Oh I forgot that you cook in ways that doesn’t involve a microwave and a frozen meal. That’s sexy.

If only my little swath of Maryland were a little more urbane it might have a Whole Foods or equivalent… Granted, I could drive to a good place. But I’m lazy, damnit! I demand that my local Weis provide me with decent garlic!
