Tomorrow I am off for Cyprus, Turkey, and Greece!  It has been a lot of preparation, but this trip is worth it.  I know this may be hard to believe, but I think I might even be more excited than my friends who managed to snag an iPhone tonight.  So, goodbye America!  And merhaba Kıbrıs!  Time for some more stamps in my passport!

Perchance one of my more mathematically inclined readers (like one who took Extremal Combinatorics or one who is minoring in Math as I pen this) would be so kind as to explain the steps behind this equation:

e^(π * i) = -1

where i is the imaginary number, and not some integer.  This isn’t a for-loop…  :)

Sushi type: kappa-maki That’s right. It’s your sushi personality type! What does your preference in sushi say about you? Does your love of ebi nigiri (shrimp) mean that you’re a real go-getter? Or does that sake nigiri (salmon) on your plate mean that you’re lazy and have no direction in life?

And, yes, kappa maki (cucumber roll) qualify as sushi! And ginger as well, for some reason. It’s the mystical logic of the Orient!

Oh, and I remembered that since I’m using my Mac full time until I get off my bum and fix my desktop, I can write in Japanese! すごい!
